Keywords : DTN,VDTN,MANET,FFHBR Abstract :In a vehicular delay-tolerant network (VDTN) whichis actually one of the type of delay-tolerant network (DTN) [1] inwhich message is passed by vehicle to vehicle and finally reachedto the destination. Some times it may be possible that the pathbetween the two nodes never exists and it can be possible dueto high mobility of the nodes. So we can disseminate the packetdirectly to the destination, therefore, delivering the message to thedestination reduces drastically and we can observe that in thesetype of scenario routing is the challenging task in VDTN. So, inthis paper, we put forward flooding and forwarding history-basedrouting algorithm. In the proposed history-based algorithm wewill try to find out the best relay node for taking the decisionwhether to flood the message or forward the message to thedestination. In the proposed algorithm we will create the historybased on the nodes encounters.
