    Abstract :

There are many important fields where authorship attribution is needed. It is the way of determining writer of a text when it is unclear. It is useful when two or more people claim to have written something or when no one is willing (or able) to say that (s)he wrote the piece. In a typical scenario, a set of documents with known authorship is used for training. The problem is then to identify which of these authors wrote the unattributed documents. In our study we refer to a method which has its origins in early twentieth century in a work of Markov (1916). In this paper we present the applications of the idea of Markov Chain, used in many field today.
