    Abstract :

    The manually operating Drilling Machine is automated with the help of Conveyor Assembly. The PLC is used as a Control system. In traditional process, human is main to operate the Drilling Machine. This engages a Person with time consuming efforts taken to drill the objects. The proposed system will reduce the Human Efforts required to drill the objects. An existing manually operated drilling system is automated using Delta PLC. The software used for designing the conveyor is ‘SolidWorks 2013 x64 Edition’ and PLC is programmed using ladder programming. The objects are clamped using the Pneumatic cylinder and air compressor. The proposed paper states that the time required for drilling and clamping is very less compared to time required for manual operation.
